What You Get
This retainer is managed security services for companies that need website monitoring without hiring an ops desk. We run uptime checks, watch certificate expiry, alert on disk and memory, and send a weekly note on what failed. When a check fails we escalate on the channel you name (email, Slack, Telegram). We watch the systems on the contract. Overnight threat hunting across your whole estate is out of scope unless we write that into the order. If you already have Grafana or an uptime tool, we can use that. If you do not, we set one up and hand you the login.
What we watch
Uptime checks on the URLs and ports you list
CPU, RAM, disk, and bandwidth on the hosts we are allowed to see
SSL/TLS expiry and domain renewal dates
Application error rates if you give us the log or APM login
Backup job success, and a restore test on a schedule we agree
Alerts to email, Slack, Telegram, or a webhook you already use
What stays in scope
Servers, load balancers, and the public site
Databases we have credentials for
Certificate and DNS records we can read
The weekly written report
An escalation path with a named person on your side
When something fails
We page the channel you named, then wait for your ack or ours per the SLA
A short note on what tripped the check, once we can see it
Capacity warnings when a host is trending full, not after it is full
A dashboard you can open without asking us for a screenshot
